FAQs
Everything you might be wondering.
Is this for me?
-
Therapy typically focuses on understanding and processing the past. Coaching is forward-focused — it's about where you are now, where you want to be, and what's getting in the way. It's practical, collaborative, and built around you.
Coaching is not a substitute for therapy or any other mental health support, and I'll always be honest with you if I think something else might serve you better.
-
Sessions are an hour long, one to one, and take place online via Google Meet. There's no set agenda — we work on what's most relevant to you. That might look like unpicking why certain things feel impossible, identifying strengths you haven't recognised yet, or figuring out practical strategies that actually suit how your brain works.
You'll receive a written summary after every session so you don't have to rely on memory alone.
-
Honestly, the difference is in the approach. This isn't about fixing you or making you more productive. It's about getting to know how your brain actually works, understanding what you already bring to the table, and building on that — rather than trying to make you operate like someone you're not.
No scripts. No one-size-fits-all programmes. No toxic positivity.
What is coaching?
-
No. A formal diagnosis is not a requirement to work with me. Whether you have a diagnosis, you're on a waiting list, you're self-identifying, or you've just started to wonder, you don't need a letter from a doctor to deserve support.
-
You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from coaching. A lot of people who reach out are functioning, just not comfortably. If something feels harder than it should, that's enough of a reason to have a conversation.
-
No. Enough Already works with adults only.
Pricing
-
Enough Already uses a sliding scale — there are four rates and you choose the one that honestly reflects your situation. No proof required, no awkward conversations.
Community — £60 per session — for people who genuinely couldn't access coaching otherwise. One space is available per month.
Standard — £80 per session — for people who can comfortably cover the cost without financial strain.
Supporter — £120 per session — for people who are able to pay a little more. Choosing this rate directly funds community spaces for people who need them.
You can find full details including how the community rate works on the pricing page. If you're still not sure which rate applies to you, that's something we can talk through on your discovery call.
-
The first step is to complete a short form — just a few questions about your situation. There's no right or wrong answer, it takes about five minutes, and it's not means testing.
Complete Community Rate Application here.
Once I've received your form I'll let you know whether a space is currently available. If one is, we'll arrange a discovery call from there. If not, I'll add you to the waiting list and be in touch when a space opens up.
-
Payment is per session and there's no requirement to pay in a block. If you'd prefer to commit to a block of 6 or 12 sessions you can, but it's entirely up to you.
-
Yes. If you have an Access to Work grant in place, sessions can be arranged to fit your funding. Just mention it when you get in touch and we'll figure out the practicalities together.
If you're not sure whether you're eligible, you can find out more and apply via the government's Access to Work page.
Practical stuff
-
Sessions are one hour. How often we meet depends on what works for you — weekly or fortnightly tends to work well for most people, but we'll figure out a rhythm that suits you. I'd recommend not leaving too long a gap between sessions, especially early on.
-
All sessions are online via Google Meet. You can join from wherever you feel most comfortable — home, a quiet office, wherever works.
If video doesn't work for you, audio only is absolutely fine.
-
No. There's nothing you need to do or bring. If something comes up between sessions that you want to talk about, you're welcome to make a note of it — but there's no pressure to arrive with a plan.
-
You'll receive a written summary after each session. Beyond that, there's no homework or check-ins unless that's something you'd find helpful — we can talk about what works for you.
-
Entirely up to you. After your initial block you can continue on a pay as you go basis, or if you'd prefer the structure of a block you can sign up for another 6 or 12 sessions. There's no pressure either way.
Important boundaries
-
I'm not able to offer coaching alongside ongoing therapy or other mental health treatment. This isn't about gatekeeping — it's about making sure the work you're doing with different professionals isn't pulling in different directions, and that you're in a place where forward-focused work feels right for you. If you're unsure, the free half-hour chat is a good place to talk it through.
-
No. Sessions are one to one. This is to make sure the space is fully yours — no outside perspectives, no divided attention, just you.
-
Coaching isn't crisis support. If you're struggling right now, please reach out to someone who can help immediately — your GP, Samaritans on 116 123, or the NHS urgent mental health line in your area. If you're not sure where to start, I'm happy to help you find the right direction.
Cancellations
-
I ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. I understand that life with ADHD doesn't always go to plan — if something comes up, just let me know as soon as you can.
Accessibility
-
Yes, where I can. Sessions are online and can be taken from wherever feels comfortable for you. Audio only is available if video doesn't work for you. Written summaries are provided after every session. All admin communication is by email. If you have specific needs you'd like to talk through, please get in touch before booking and we'll figure out what works.
Getting started
-
It's an informal conversation — a chance for you to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and figure out whether this feels like a good fit. There's no obligation to book anything afterwards. If it's not right for you, I'll tell you honestly, and if I think something else might suit you better I'll say that too.
-
All coaching starts with a free half-hour chat — no commitment, no pressure. It's a chance for you to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and figure out whether Enough Already feels like the right fit.
To arrange yours, just drop me an email at hello@iamenoughalready.co.uk and we'll find a time that works and go from there.
